There is so much information about working out and fitness, it can leave your head spinning.  Most articles assume women only want to lose weight.  Many women follow the advice, lose weight, and still don’t look their best.  It’s easy to end up feeling disappointed because losing weight is not always the only solution. 

In order to turn heads, you’ll need to focus on shaping the body as a whole.  You will need to determine your body type.  This calls for a moment of truth for many of us.  The best way to do this is to stand in the mirror facing forward.  Make sure you have on minimal clothing.  Take your shoulder, chest, waist and hip measurements.

It’s easy for a girl to be overwhelmed when looking through magazines.  Vogue says you should be tall and thin like Naomi Campbell.  Playboy says you should have big breasts that do not respond to gravity like Pamela Anderson. 

And now Jennifer Lopez is popular so, on top of all that, you have to have a big butt.  All three of these women are worshipped by many and represent a standard of beauty.

Women come in all shapes and sizes, but there’s one thing we all seek.  We all desire a beautiful midsection because it enhances our symmetry, making us look better overall.  Everyone wants to know how to lose love handles, get a flat stomach, or even a “six pack.”  For most of us, the stomach is the hardest body part to change, so it’s easy to get frustrated and give up.  

It IS possible to attain the midsection you want, you just have to go about it the right way.  I know it’s hard, because there’s so much conflicting information out there, so let’s settle the score!

You won’t see optimal results from working out unless you have the proper nutrition. This does not mean “going on a diet”. Crash diets are temporary, therefore the results are temporary. If you make a permanent lifestyle change, your results will be better, healthier, and permanent! Your body is a reflection of the way you eat most of the time. 

Let me make that clear: Your body will look the way you eat 80-90% of the time! This means you have control over the way you look to a certain extent.
