I'm a male in my 30's that have tried very hard to get rid of my love handles. Now matter how hard I work out, the love handles won't go away. I see improvements in my body but the love handles will not decrease. I have to admit my diet hasn't changed, however I eat fairly healthy. I'm not on a strict diet. I'm burning a ton of calories via cardio and I have slimmed down. So I know I'm burning more calories than I'm taking so. So what am I doing wrong?
I'd love to hear from people who are successful at getting rid of their love handles.
I would need to know more before giving a specific answer. For decreasing love handles, you must lose fat. My first thought is what is the frequency and type of cardio that you do? It is possible you may have hit a plateau (meaning your body has adapted to your activities and will no longer change until you challenge it). Since you have slimmed down by doing cardio and your love handles show slow progress, I am thinking it's time to change up your cardio, and change your diet. Many people don't eat as healthy as they think they do, and keeping a food log can uncover many hidden issues. What are you eating on a daily basis?
